Zakowski Wins Iowa Racing Title With Can-Am Maverick

 Valcourt, Québec, October 15, 2014 – Zac Zakowski secured the 2014 Open UTV Championship in his Can-Am® Maverick™ 1000R X® xc at the Iowa ATV Hare Scramble Series (IATVHSS) finale in Carlisle, Iowa. Maverick 1000R racers also competed at the Best In The Desert (BITD) BlueWater Desert Challenge in Arizona, and the Texhoma Quad Racing Association (TQRA) ATV Pro Challenge in Texas.

Can-Am Maverick 1000R Racers Earn GNCC, TORN Wins

ATV and Side-By-Side Racers Tally Numerous Podiums

 

Valcourt, Québec, Oct. 8, 2014 – Can-Am® ATV and side-by-side racers earned five class wins and 15 total class podiums at the ITP Powerline Park Grand National Cross Country race in Ohio. Kyle Chaney topped the UTV overall podium in his Maverick™ 1000R, while Can-Am Renegade® 4×4 Pro class racers Bryan Buckhannon and Kevin Trantham both finished on the 10 a.m. session overall podium. Texas Off-Road Nationals and Can-Am racer Hunter Miller won both the ATV Pro and UTV Expert classes at round seven in Texas.

Driver Kyle Chaney and co-pilot Chris Bithell have now won three straight races and notched four consecutive GNCC XC1 Modified class UTV podium finishes after their recent victory at the 2014 ITP Powerline Park GNCC in Ohio.

“It was a dominating weekend for team Can-Am and our racers at both the Powerline GNCC in Ohio and the TORN race in Texas. Can-Am GNCC Racers Win Five Morning Classes; Zakowski Dominant in Iowa

Valcourt, Québec, September 24, 2014 – The JB Off-Road / Hendershot Performance / Can-Am® X-Team recently captured two regional racing championships with its Maverick™1000R X® rs side-by-side vehicle. Can-Am ATV racers also won five morning classes, the morning overall and all four 4×4 classes, at round 11 of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country series in Pennsylvania. In Iowa, Zac Zakowski earned three wins racing his Can-Am ATV and side-by-side.

Valcourt, Québec, August 21, 2014 – Can-Am® ATV and side-by-side racers competed at the 2014 Heartland Challenge endurance race, the Vegas To Reno Best In The Desert series and round eight of the New England ATV Motocross series, earning podiums in all three events.

Open UTV Team Jack's / Can Amdrivers Marcus and Mouse Pratt won the Open UTV class and UTV overall with a time of 03:58:43 at the 2014 Heartland Challenge in Carlisle, Iowa.

Can-Am DS 450 Pro Joel Hetrick Earns Red Bud Podium

Valcourt, Québec, July 29, 2014 – Can-Am® DS 450™ racers recorded numerous podiums competing in both the AMA-sanctioned Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship series in Michigan and round six of the New England ATV Motocross series in Massachusetts. Joel Hetrick earned third place in the Pro class at the Red Bud MX National, while fellow Pro Travis Moore earned second in the NEATV-MX series Pro ranks.
